Thema: The Network University Medicine supports research by providing access to clinical data from routine care, registries, and clinical studies. In the meantime, all university hospitals in Germany have established data integration centers that offer comprehensive services and tools for research data management, extending beyond the mere extraction of data from clinical information systems. In our presentation, we introduce the overall concept of the data integration centers at the University Medicine Greifswald and Rostock. We explain how the data integration pipelines operate, how researchers can request access to data, and which research data management services the data integration centers provide to their users. We will focus on our core tasks, the implementation of the FAIR principles, well-defined metadata management, and the assurance of high data quality.
