Um die Verfügbarkeit der Medien der Wossidlo-Bibliothek, Am Reifergraben 4, dauerhaft zu verbessern, wird der überwiegende Teil der Wossidlo-Bibliothek in die Fachbibliothek Bildung, Geschichte, Altertum, August-Bebel-Straße 28 integriert. In den Räumlichkeiten der Wossidlo-Bibliothek soll eine optimierte Aufstellung des Wossidlo-Archivs erfolgen.
Der Umzug wird ab Montag, den 25. Januar 2021 stattfinden und bis voraussichtlich Dienstag, den 2. Februar 2021 dauern. In dieser Zeit werden sowohl die Wossidlo-Bibliothek als auch die 7. Etage der Fachbibliothek Bildung, Geschichte, Altertum gesperrt sein. Betroffen von der Schließung sind somit insbesondere Bücher der Klassischen Archäologie, der Ethnologie und der Kunstwissenschaft. Medien aller anderen Fachbereiche in der Fachbibliothek Bildung, Geschichte, Altertum können wie gewohnt und ohne Einschränkungen genutzt werden.
Bitte entleihen Sie im Vorfeld dringend benötigte Literatur. Kurzausleihen für nicht ausleihbare Bestände der betroffenen Fachbereiche sind für die Zeit der Schließung am Samstag, den 23. Januar möglich. Sollten kurzfristig dringende Ausleihen notwendig werden, wenden Sie sich bitte an die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der Fachbibliothek Bildung, Geschichte, Altertum.
Der Umzug findet über den derzeit gesperrten Haupteingang des Gebäudes August-Bebel-Str. 28 statt. Der Zugang zur Fachbibliothek Bildung, Geschichte, Altertum ist unverändert über den Seiteneingang am Gebäude möglich.

Wossidlo Library to move in with the Education, History, and Antiquity Library (25 January until 2 February)
In order to improve the availability of media housed in the Wossidlo Library (Am Reifergraben 4), the bulk of its collection will be moved to the Education, History, and Antiquity Library at August-Bebel-Straße 28, allowing the former building to better house and display the Wossidlo Archive.
The move is scheduled to take place on 25 January and expected to finish on 2 February. During this time, both the Wossidlo Library and the 7th floor of the Education, History, and Antiquity Library will be closed, curtailing access to items in the Antiquity, Ethnology and Fine Arts collections. The remainder of the Education, History, and Antiquity Library will be open for business as usual.
Please borrow any items you need from the aforementioned subject areas prior to 25 January. Non-circulating items will be available for short-term loan on 23 January. If you have any urgent requirements while the closure is in place, please contact a member of staff at the Education, History, and Antiquity Library.
Movers will be using the currently unavailable main entrance of the Humanities building. Access to the Education, History, and Antiquity library will continue to be via the side entrance.
